Annual or biennial plant that reaches 30-60 cm .

It is found almost everywhere in uncultivated and cultivated sites .

Propagated easily . The leaves are dark green and plush , covered with hairs.

The lower leaves are serrated and senior epiphytes . The upper part of the leaf is filled with white pustules ( fouskitsa ) .

Widows said to have greatest weakness , for it is called Widows weed. Seedlings harvested from the autumn until spring. Eaten plain boiled with lemon or in combination with other herbs.
