Annual plants that reach 50 cm. Are found almost everywhere in uncultivated places. It has about 5 species widespread in Greece.
The leaves are dark green and have a slightly sour taste. Gathered from early autumn until the end of the spring. Boiled cooked alone or with meat and used for pies.
